| Marty: | So, you excited about Saturday? |

| Marty: | Bro, what do you mean? This is awesome! Suzanna is an awesome sister! |
| John: | Yeah, but I'm kinda used to actually choosing who I'm going to ask out myself. Plus it was kinda weird to have you ask her discipler, and have her discipler ask her, and me never even talk to her. <shrugs> |
| Marty: | Bro, I told you you can't talk to sisters by yourself yet. Besides, what kind of message would it send if brothers just called sisters up? Especially you, being a new Christian! What would Suzanna think, some new brother just calling her up? That is flat out worldly! |
| John: | Yeah, well. I thought I should at least pick her up myself.! |
| Marty: | Brother! What are you talking about?! You mean, go get her in your car, by yourself?! |
| John: | <looking at him funny>. . . yeah . . . |
| Marty: | <very earnestly> John, you're scaring me, bro. We talked about not having a hint of sexual immorality. Think about how many people would stumble, seeing you driving around with a sister BY YOURSELF! What kind of EXAMPLE would that be, bro?! |
| John: | <sighs> Alright. Anyway, I don't see why we have to do dinner theater. Why can't we just rent a video or something? |
| Marty: | <exasperated> There are so many things wrong with what you just said, bro. One of them is, where would you watch this video? |
| John: | <getting irritated> Here, where else? |
| Marty: | <gets up and starts dramatically pacing the room> Are you talking about watching a video in somebody's APARTMENT, John? What does an apartment have, John? A BEDROOM! A BEDROOM, John, just STEPS away from where you're watching some video?! What can you be THINKING?! |
| John: | <thinking this is getting kind of weird, but wondering if it's just him . . .> |
